RIP Mickey baby

Mummy came home with a sad news. My cousin Mickey the chihuahua had passed away.  Passed away? Just like ah gong? Where did he go? I hope there is really A Doggie Heaven whereby we can meet again.

Just 2 weeks ago, Mickey came over to celebrate Sarah's birthday. Mummy forgot to cook for us but we still enjoyed ourselves very much. Never did I expect that, this is the last time I see him. I will missed him dearly.

We used to play together, eat together, sleep together & live together.  We even celebrate our birthday together.

I knew you had heart murmur but you are a little chili padi - so hot & fierce. You never alert us of your unwell, popo felt so bad about it. She kept saying that if she was there, she could have carry and hug you to comfort you just like what she did on Sunday then maybe you might be able to pull through.

I will miss you forever, Mickey. Till death do us brothers part.

Dog Shampoo

I had a hard time trying to get this shampoo for Piston. It is not available in Singapore, thus each time any fellow workers go back for home leave I will ask if they can help me get it.

To my surprise not all areas sell it only certain areas had it and one of my colleague happen to stay in that area. So this wonderful person had been helping me get it whenever he go back on home leave.

This is my supply for the next 2 years.

My Thoughts on 1 Peter 3

Recently, I stepped into a beauty salon for facial session since I had my girl. What a shock it was for the beautician when I told her that I had not had any facial since December 2006

"How could you neglect your skin?" her said. "We, woman should take good care of our skin as we aged faster after childbirth." she continued. I told her "It is OK, all these are not that essential to me." The beautician continued to emphasis on the important of up keeping ourselves. All the time, I kept telling her that it is not that important as there are things more important then up keeping our look. After the session, as usual they tried to persuade me into taking a package course with them. I really had to fight hard to temptation to say "NO". In the past, I will take up the package but now I will really consider properly before forking out a sum of money to "pamper" myself.

During the facial session, I got deep in thoughts of – Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or putting on of apparel. But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Peter 3:3-4

Wearing of gold or plaiting of hair is not what God want from me. What God really wanted from me is to be a woman trusted in God and adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husband – 1 Peter 3:5. Not the harlot in Proverb 7

Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. Proverb 7:27

If I really signed up the package, then I would have fallen into Satan's trap. Why?

      • Focusing on myself rather then God and my family;
      • Putting pressure on our family finance;

Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands Proverb 14:1

My husband was quite surprise when I told him that I did not sign up the package. He said "I thought you will sign up but anyway if you want to go for a facial session when ever you wanted to just go ahead but plan your time properly."

Wow, what a blessing! If I just signed the package without thinking, I guess the outcome would be "You knew that we are not doing that well and our daughter's term fee is due in a week time and you topped it up by signing for a facial package that cost over $1000!" "You got no brain to think is it?"

My problem mei mei - Sarah

My daddy & mummy discover my mei mei - Sarah got a tiny problem with both her eye since she was 1 year old. But her GP decide to wait till she is older before making a decision of sending her to the Ophthalmology.

After getting a referral letter from polyclinic. On Monday - 27 July 2009, they brought her to the Ophthalmology department in KKH. After a series of test - my mei mei Sarah was diagnose with Amblyopia, Astigmatism & Strabimus(Squints). Amblyopia & Astigmatism are not as serious as Strabimus as they can be cured externally wherelse Strabimus might required surgery when she is 7 years old.

Update photo of Me - Piston the Drooling King

I considered myself lucky... My mummy & daddy never gave me away when my mei mei was born... unlike some poor ones... once their mummy had a new baby, they forgot about having a elder one who used to be their best loved one.

Lucky for me, my mummy prefer me to my mei mei. She and mei mei never bond. Mei mei don't want mummy and mummy don't want mei mei...

      My Birthday today

Today is my 3 year old birthday... Time really fly. If I manage to live the so called life span of a healthy dog then I got 12 more years to go. In another word, I can only be with Daddy & Mummy for another 12 years.

This is really a very short time. But there isn't any thing I could do to prolong it unless 'HE' permit it.

This year no celebration for me coz my Popo, mummy & mei mei all down with food poisonning. So mummy say I can only have a combine party with Mickey next mth. But today also not bad lah, Popo cook me Fried Rice as my Birthday Dinner.

My birthday wish this year will be... To stay happy & healthy & alway be my meimei's companion

      Poison in the food

On Wednesday, Lao gu gu came to our house so mummy decided to bring them go to carpark for dinner. Daddy ordered – claypot toufu, veggie, har lok prawns & thai style chicken. Wow sound not be hor. As usual mummy ate the least as she need to feed my mei mei.

That night from about 11pm onward. Mummy started throwing up. Then Popo & mei mei started throwing up at about 2am. Then all three of them had diarrhoea from 4 am. Mummy suspect that it is the toufu is the culprit, as lady forget to order our usual request of the local toufu & give us the egg toufu instead.

Lucky for me. I never go with them so I never get it. Thinking back, being a dog also not bad leh. At least I dun get to suffer from Food Poisoning.

      Testimony of my Uncle Isaac

The last time I was ask to pen my testimony was some 30 years ago when i was in my late teens. At that time, I recited the 4 spiritual laws and I received the Lord as my Saviour and was baptized the following year. The early year of Christian life after leaving school was not as dramatic as when I entered the workforce. The attractions of the world and the sarcasms from colleagues discouraged me so much that I wanted to give up my faith and get lost in the noisy confusion of life. But God is faithful and I was reminded that a truly born-again Christian would not desire to live a life of sin. While on earth, I am not perfect and I constantly need the prompting of the Holy Spirit to restore my fellowship with God. I learned that I need to repent of any sin right away for God is merciful and forgiving. (Dan 9:9)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Eph. 6:12)

God alienated me from my friends and their habits (when He sent me to Singapore and our family left Malaysia.) He settled me in this island where I could worship Him without distractions from these friends. I thank God for providing a place for me to worship and also to be fed with his Words.

This is a song that I used to sing ages ago. I used to shared it with friends ad colleagues:

      One day I was wondering
      what it is all about
Life is full of heart break,
      restlessness and doubt
      then a gentle stranger whispered
      Word of Love
      Pointed me to heaven,
      wrote my name above
      i know where I'm going
and who I'm going to see
I 've a friend named Jesus
      waiting there for me
      He has given something
      that only He could give
He gave his life in payment
      so that I could live

Yes, when I leave this world I know where I am going and who is going with me.

To him be the glory both now and forever. Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ.
